"I believe that forgiveness, like freedom, is earned, not given." To me anyway, the best apology is changed behavior. It's nice to read a man who's being both strong and vulnerable. Your sons are lucky to have you. Wonderful essay.

Holy shit dude. Reading this was powerful on a physical level, especially the poetry / wordsmith flow at the end. This is the best reminder of how much clarity comes to us when we back away from noise and get back to our own energy - no matter how painful. Thank you. 🙏

This con-vid thing really shook up humanity.

Things will get better as the normies are starting to see what we see.

The fantasy world people live in collapsed because of con-vid.

That's the apocalypse... Not a physical one, but an emotional and mental upheaval.

It will lead to a better world.

Wonderful post. Love the repeated returns to BASEment and foundations. Which is a great lead-in to "principles": It was, after all, a rejection of principle (the following of the Lord's order) that led to the Fall. Just so it's said, the world is a damn hard place to maintain principles, why is that? At every turn you're confronted with burst pipes, condemnation by peers, and the vagaries of those in power. In contrast, there are precious few things which reinforce your resolve and reward your reliance and adhesion to your ideals. Great post. Keep the faith!
