Interview with Derek Bartolacelli
Hello Dear Readers,
It’s been awhile. I’ve been enjoying this adventure called life, working hard at 2.5 jobs (one of which is new), being a single father and making new connections.
One of those new connections is with a brother in arms who I’ve been looking forward to meeting for a long time. I knew one day our paths would cross.
I had the pleasure last Friday night (July 25), to have a talk with Derek Bartolacelli of the One Great Work Network. You can find Derek’s work at the One Great Work and his YouTube channel AwakenYaMind. Derek throws some fat mixes on his channel with so much care and attention. All the music is conscious, just dope.
We talked about many things including the SoundPath to Freedom Truth and Freedom Music Festival, which Derek is coordinating with other wonderful humans, and I am performing spoken word poetry at.
I announce the title of my poetry project which I have published here at Substack througout 2025 and a surprise regarding the 12th and final poem. Hope you catch this and check out the Soundpath to Freedom Festival Labor Day Weekend from August 29 - September 1.
After Derek and i finish up, we headed over to the Soundpath channel for the 11th Soundpath Watch Party, where each person attending brings 3 songs/videos regarding freedom of the human spirit in some manner. I brought my 3. I’ll include both videos below.
